Ultra-conservative CPAC conference has Colorado connections
The 2018 Conservative Political Action Conference kicked off today in Maryland. It features a lengthy list of speakers and panels, including NRA President Wayne LaPierre, Education Secretary Betsy DeVos and Vice President Mike Pence. You can watch the livestream here. Tom Tancredo’s Trump-like nationalism, disdain for immigrants, and shirking of the facts
Facebook posts of former Congressman and Breitbart contributor Tom Tancredo, who announced last week that he’d run his third campaign for Colorado governor, paint a picture of the politician in the mold of President Donald Trump, promoting fake news and conspiracy theories, nationalism, and contempt for Muslims and immigrant communities.
GOP candidate Casper Stockham posts fake news even when he knows it’s fake
With all the stories about “fake news” in the election, you would think someone like Casper Stockham (R-Colorado), Dianna Degette’s (D-Colorado) opponent in the recent Colorado CD1 election, would be reluctant to post fake news on his Facebook page.
