After opening the Mesa County Republican Assembly in Grand Junction with a prayer, a singing of the national anthem, and recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance, county GOP chairman Kevin McCarney invited his “adopted daughter” Rep. Lauren Boebert to the stage.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office are investigating an anonymous letter that references the Columbine massacre, accuses top state officials and Mesa County District Attorney Dan Rubinstein of being in a hate group, and lists the home addresses of Rubinstein, numerous state elections employees as well as their family members in other states.

Election conspiracists in Colorado who pioneered a field campaign that involves volunteers, some of whom are potentially armed, going door-to-door in search of phantom ballots, are now helping to export that tactic across the country, perhaps in as many as 30 states.
