60 Days In is an A&E docuseries covering prison and jail life from the perspective of inmates. The series’ first season in 2016 followed seven volunteers who went undercover for 60 days as inmates in the Clark County Jail in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The focus was exposing ongoing illegal activities within the jail confines that correctional officials missed. I recently watched a few episodes, and one thing struck me as I watched a supercut of clips from this series — I didn’t see any Jews.

The Shomer — Redpilled in Aspen: Chabad JCC Hosts Election Fraud Attorney
In his play The Tempest, William Shakespeare wrote, “Misery acquaints a man with strange bedfellows.” Sometime in the 19th Century, the quote morphed into the proverb, “Politics makes strange bedfellows.”It strikes me a deeply apropos in some cases when it comes to today’s GOP and how politically conservative Jews seem okay with their proximity to the far-right. This isn’t to say the left is free from antisemitism — far from it. It’s the paradox of being a Jew in the United States today; we see antisemitism across the political spectrum.

Residents in the Country Club neighborhood of Denver at Marion Street and 1st St. were greeted with a rude awakening on the morning of Jan. 23 when they discovered their block had been targeted overnight with a flyer drop by the so-called “Goyim Defense League” — a neo-Nazi organization who has been waging a disinformation war across the country for several months. A night later, similar flyers were reportedly distributed in Miami Beach and Surfside neighborhoods in Florida and along Union Street, Pacific Avenue and Divisadero Street in San Francisco.

Colleyville is a tiny Texas town between Dallas and Ft. Worth, with a population of 26,462. There are at least 20 churches there. There is only one synagogue in Colleyville — Reform congregation Beth-Israel. And there is only one Mosque — the Islamic Association of Colleyville.
