Colorado Times Recorder columnist Logan M. Davis appeared this morning on Democracy Now!, a national news program hosted by Amy Goodman, where he was interviewed about newly confirmed Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s ties to Christian nationalism.

Davis was invited to appear on the program after writing a column, titled “Pete Hegseth and I Know the Same Christian Nationalists,” which is about Davis’ experience being raised in the same Christian nationalist community that Hegseth embraces today.
The Democracy Now! segment touched on multiple aspects of Hegseth’s ties to Christian nationalism.
“Hegseth is a member of a faith community that believes in the supremacy of the church over earthly affairs and has pursued that, and there’s reason for concern about which of those beliefs he will bring to the Pentagon,” Logan said on air.
