The nonprofit Family Policy Alliance, which partners with Colorado Springs-based Focus on the Family, says it mobilized voters through 12 million emails in swing states and brought 850,000 new Christian voters to the polls.

John Thune, the evangelical Christian elected to the U.S. Senate 20 years ago from South Dakota with the help of right-wing Christian James Dobson, who founded Colorado Springs-based Focus on the Family, announced he wants to succeed Mitch McConnell as Senate GOP leader after McConnell retires later this year.
Colorado’s conservative evangelical community will be represented at Justice Kavanaugh’s swearing-in ceremony at the White House this evening. Jenna Lynn Ellis, who serves as Policy Director for the James Dobson Family Institute, shared her official White House invitation on Facebook.
