Trump attorney John Eastman used to have licenses to practice law in California and Washington, D.C. Both of those have been suspended following a ruling by a California Bar Court judge that found him culpable of all ten disciplinary charges and recommended he be disbarred. Former state Representative Dan Woog, who is a candidate to return to the statehouse, equated the current Democratic legislators with Nazis today. The Republican from Weld County posted a picture of the state Capitol and Hitler to his Facebook page, along with a post claiming that Democratic leaders’ rules of decorum during floor debate are equilvalent to Hitler’s despotic takeover of Germany. After making his analogy, he concluded by writing, “this isn’t contrived sensationalism. This is reality.”
Colo GOP Puts Trump Purity Tests to Primary Candidates Seeking Party Endorsement
Under Colorado Republican Party Chairman Dave Williams, party neutrality is a thing of the past. The state GOP will for the first time be endorsing candidates in its upcoming primary. A voice vote on a resolution proposed by Williams (and ruled on by Williams) at the state assembly eliminated the possibility of an endorsement for any candidate who made the ballot solely by gathering signatures. To choose between those primary candidates who went through the assembly process, the Colorado GOP announced it would base its decision on consultations with local party officials as well as a questionnaire.

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem will be the featured speaker at this Saturday’s fundraising dinner for the Jefferson County Republican Party. Noem, who is on Donald Trump’s vice presidential shortlist, was already widely known as a conservative firebrand, but she returned to the headlines today after the Guardian published excerpts from her new book, “No Going Back,” which includes her graphic recounting of killing a 14-month old puppy for being a bad hunting dog.
