KHOW talk radio host Dan Caplis said yesterday that Weld County Sheriff Steve Reams told Caplis that he is considering challenging U.S. Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO).

“I got a text from a source I trust. And that text suggested to me that Ken Buck may be primaried by someone who would completely seismically alter the landscape. Sorry I can’t say more,” said Caplis on his show yesterday at 32 minutes. “…During the break, the potential candidate himself gave us permission to share the fact that he is considering a primary challenge. He’s not getting in at this point.”
Caplis said Reams will be on his show today to discuss his intentions.
State Rep. Richard Holtorf (R-Akron) already announced the launch of his committee to explore challenging U.S. Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO) in the 2024 Republican primary.
