Colorado Gov. Jared Polis (D-CO) gathered at the IBEW Local 68 Hall in Denver today with legislative and community leaders to sign a bill (SB23 292) into law ensuring, among other things, that contractors for large public energy projects pay a liveable wage and employ registered apprentices or utilize a Project Labor Agreement (PLA).
The new law aims to ensure that clean energy projects in Colorado are successful for workers as well as the environment.
