I suppose it was inevitable. As each day brings new horrors committed by Trump, more and more Republicans begin to get nervous about owning his failures, and they try to cast the blame for his election on the real perpetrators—Democrats!

Got it? It’s the people who didn’t vote for Trump who are at fault for his election! It reminded me of former Colorado State Rep. Shawn Mitchell, who has been saying this for a while now:
Mitchell’s mindset is pretty consistent with other Republicans who claim to not like Trump, but cannot bring themselves to look inward at their own moral and ethical decay. There’s always a way to blame Democrats, and that is much easier than blaming themselves.
