As more data centers are being built across the country than ever before, several Colorado Democrats are introducing a bill to make the state more attractive to companies looking to build these facilities in an effort to prevent Colorado from being left out of the rapidly growing industry.
“Move ahead. Do not look back,” was former Arizona Congresswoman Gabby Giffords’ advice for when things get difficult. Giffords survived an assassination attempt, which was part of a mass shooting that killed six people, in 2011. Giffords, a Democrat, has since worked toward the prevention of gun violence and the passing of gun safety laws.
In a party-line vote of 8-3 late Tuesday, the Colorado House Judiciary Committee passed a bill to tighten concealed handgun permit requirements.
