Medicaid Saved My Life: National Day of Action Kickoff with the Nonviolent Medicaid Army — 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. — Virtual Event
From the organizers: “NVMA is planning a National Day of Action for Medicaid on Saturday, September 19th, to publicly expose ongoing attacks on health care in our community. On that day, we’ll be taking action together as the national Nonviolent Medicaid Army in more than 15 states to declare: Medicaid saved my life! We’re exposing the truth that Medicaid cuts equal death, and we’re coming together for support, survival, and strategy. Healthcare is a human right! The Great Medicaid Purge of 2023 already cut over 25 million people off Medicaid in a single year, and the Big Beautiful Bill for Billionaires will strip millions more Americans of their healthcare over the next decade. That’s why we’re declaring 2027 the year of MASS ACTION FOR MEDICAID, to educate, agitate, and organize millions of people on our healthcare and welfare rights. No hurdles, no cuts, Medicaid for all of us! This is the 250th anniversary of the United States, and we’re reclaiming the promise of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness from a system that produces poverty in the midst of plenty. We’re getting into step, uniting across every line of division, and asserting our political independence. Join us!”
Gabe Evans Protest — 4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. — I-25 Pedestrian Bridge, 281 W. 104th Ave., Northglenn
Weekly demonstration. From the organizers: “A peaceful gathering at the I-25 pedestrian overpass (for visibility) near Cinzetti’s in Northglenn, CO, to urge CO-8 Congressional Representative Gabe Evans to have the courage to speak with us, his constituents. We also want to let other residents of CD-8 know what Gabe is voting for.”

Colorado Connector (CoCo) Delivery Plan Public Forum: Colorado Springs — 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. — 925 S. Institute St., Colorado Springs and in Downtown Denver — 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. — NT – 23rd Floor Penthouse Pavilion, 1777 Chestnut Pl., Denver
From the organizers: “We want to hear from you! You’re invited to a Delivery Plan Public Forum to learn more about Colorado Connector (“CoCo”) and the future of passenger rail in Colorado Springs. This event is a chance to learn about CoCo, the delivery plan, ask questions, and give us your input. This is a space to get information and be part of the conversation.”
Visibility Brigade — 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. — Sioux Dr. & Thunderbird Dr., Boulder
Weekly demonstration. From the organizers: “South Boulder Visibility Brigade invites you to a weekly visibility event on the pedestrian bridge at Foothills Pkwy and Sioux Ave in Boulder. Come protest the regime and publicize/push back against recent takeover attempts. Bring your own sign if desired, but we will have banners/letters and signs to borrow.”

From the organizers: “We gather peacefully at Gabe Evans’ Northglenn Office every Friday between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to urge him to have the courage to speak with us, his constituents. We plead with him to defend our Freedom, our Constitution, and our Democracy. We protest Gabe Evans’ weakness as he remains silent in the face of the staggering level of corruption and other unconstitutional actions of this administration.

The Removal Coalition needs your help encouraging our representatives to Impeach, Convict, and Remove our dangerous President and his appointed team of corrupt evil-doers. All other peaceful 1st Amendment messages are also welcome.”
GrassrootsPueblo: No War in Iran Protest and Food/Pet Donation Drive — 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. — 1520 W 4th St., Pueblo
Weekly demonstration. From the organizers: “We are GrassrootsPueblo, an independent group of concerned citizens regarding the authoritarian actions by the Trump administration. Our food and pet food donation drive continues every week at our Saturday protests. This allows us to help the people and pet friends in our community who are struggling right now. We really appreciate your donation.”
Indivisible: Protest “Against All Things This Authoritarian Regime Is Doing” — 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. — S. Wadsworth Blvd. & W. Alameda Ave., Lakewood
Weekly demonstration. From the organizers: “Join us and protest all the things this authoritarian regime is doing that keep you up at night. Pick the topic that is nearest and dearest to you to call out. There’s lots of traffic to see your messages. Immigration, ICE brutality and violence, voting rights, the rule of law, Constitutional violations, greed and corruption, healthcare, the First Amendment, use of National Guard, Ukraine, Gaza, and there are so many more. Let’s be heard!”

Weekly demonstration. Join protestors in standing against ICE and honoring Alex Pretti, who had ties to the Aurora community.
