Wednesday, July 1

Gabe Evans Protest (I-25 Pedestrian Bridge) — 4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. — 281 W. 104 Ave., Northglenn

Weekly Demonstration. From the organizers: “This is a local Indivisible event! A peaceful gathering at the I-25 pedestrian overpass (for visibility) near Cinzetti’s in Northglenn, CO to urge CO-8 Congressional Rep. Gabe Evans to have the courage to speak with us, his constituents. We also want to let other residents of CD-8 know what Gabe is voting for.”

Anti-ICE Facility Public Comment at Hudson Town Council — 6 p.m. — 50 Beech St., Hudson

Bi-monthly public comment. From the organizers: “We’ve been attending every town hall to discuss the possibilities, risks, and factors that come with opening an ICE detention center to city council with little to no reaction. They have refused to add the topic as an agenda item and we are using our rights to speak during “public comments” for three minutes. We NEED more voices to speak for the VOICELESS!

Thursday, July 2

Anti-ICE Protest- Spread the Word — 4:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. — Intersection at Peoria & 30 Ave., Aurora

From the organizers: “Join us on Thursday for some corner work near the GEO ICE Facility to raise awareness. We’ll be handing out flyers and messaging to traffic (estimate 35k cars), getting the message out.”

We Are America! — 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. — 2 S. Marshall Rd., Superior

From the organizers: “This Fourth of July, join us as we reclaim the flag and celebrate the America we believe in! Bring a sign that reflects your vision for our country—an America rooted in freedom, justice, equality, democracy, and opportunity for all. Bring your flag, your voice, and your passion. We’ll have small American flags and patriotic pinwheels to share, so everyone can participate. This is more than a gathering—it’s a chance to show that patriotism belongs to all of us. Together, we’ll stand proudly, visibly, and peacefully for the values that make our country stronger and for the future we want to build.”

4th of July Protect Democracy Rally — 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. — Weld County Courthouse, 901 9th Ave., Greeley

From the organizers: “This Fourth of July, raise your voice to protect and expand American democracy! We’ll rally on the Weld County courthouse steps as we mourn together what we’ve lost and celebrate in community what America could become. Bring a song you’d like to sing, a short reading, a chant you’d like to lead, or a short speech. All presentations limited to 3 minutes.”

Start Your 4th of July Right! — 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. — 7100 Grandview Ave., Arvada

From the organizers: “Join us to rally and protest! Republicans are rushing to steal billions in taxpayer funding from the essential services families rely on, all to supercharge Trump’s authoritarian power grabs and give ICE a blank check to keep terrorizing our communities. Join us to demand Congress fund communities, not chaos! Start your Independence Day holiday off right with like-minded community members. We’ll have music and camaraderie, early enough in the day for you to join family and friends or other protests later in the day. Despite the early start, things can be hot by noon, so dress for heat, bring water and sunscreen, and don’t forget your best protest signs, t-shirts, and costumes if you wish!”

From the organizers: “Come march in the Greeley Fourth of July Parade with Greeley-Weld Indivisible! Express your (non-partisan) support for voting rights, voter registration, and civic engagement while handing out voting stickers, candy, and information.”

From the organizers: “We will read the Declaration of Independence! And there will be banjos! This Fourth of July 2026, we are urging all Americans to return to and remember the truths of the Declaration of Independence together. We are encouraging: A WIDESPREAD PUBLIC READING OF THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE.”

GrassrootsPueblo: No War in Iran Protest and Food/Pet Donation Drive — 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. — 1520 W 4th St., Pueblo

Weekly demonstration. From the organizers: “We are GrassrootsPueblo, an independent group of concerned citizens regarding the authoritarian actions by the Trump administration. Our food and pet food donation drive continues every week at our Saturday protests. This allows us to help the people and pet friends in our community who are struggling right now. We really appreciate your donation.”

Indivisible: Protest “Against All Things This Authoritarian Regime Is Doing” — 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. — S. Wadsworth Blvd. & W. Alameda Ave., Lakewood

Weekly demonstration. From the organizers: “Join us and protest all the things this authoritarian regime is doing that keep you up at night. Pick the topic that is nearest and dearest to you to call out. There’s lots of traffic to see your messages. Immigration, ICE brutality and violence, voting rights, the rule of law, Constitutional violations, greed and corruption, healthcare, the First Amendment, use of National Guard, Ukraine, Gaza, and there are so many more. Let’s be heard!”

Indivisible: Ice Out for Good — 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. — West 80th Ave. & Wadsworth Blvd., Arvada

Weekly demonstration. Join protestors in standing against ICE and honoring Alex Pretti, who had ties to the Aurora community.

No Fascists! No Kings! — 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. — Intersection at W. 120th Ave. & Sheridan Blvd., Broomfield

From the organizers: “Let’s protest against the fascist Trump regime, and stop the violence ICE is perpetrating on innocent people in our peaceful communities! Let’s loudly and frequently oppose the regime’s attempts to rig our upcoming elections NOW! Let’s demand equal rights and justice for everyone! Let’s demand an end to the erosion of our labor rights as corporate collaborators squeeze more and more money from us that we need for basic necessities, like healthcare and food! Together we will hold them accountable. We know who really has the power in America—and it’s the people!”
