Protest at Gabe Evans’ Northglenn Office — 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. — Northglenn District Office, 10701 Melody Dr.

Weekly Demonstration. From the organizers: “We gather peacefully at Gabe Evans’ Northglenn Office every Friday between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to urge him to have the courage to speak with us, his constituents. We plead with him to defend our Freedom, our Constitution, and our Democracy. We protest Gabe Evans’ weakness as he remains silent in the face of the staggering level of corruption and other unconstitutional actions of this administration.

Protect Colorado’s Future: Rally and Canvass Launch To Get Graduated Income Tax on November Ballot — 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. — Martin Luther King Jr. Park on Newport and 38th, Denver

From the organizers: “Join us as we launch the final push to put a graduated income tax on the November ballot. This statewide rally brings together community members, volunteers, candidates, elected officials, and local leaders who believe Colorado deserves a fair tax system that works for everyone. This is your chance to be part of a movement that’s making history.”

“The recent H.R. 1 federal bill gave tax breaks to the wealthiest people and largest corporations in Colorado and around the country at the expense of those who can least afford it,” said Chris deGruy Kennedy of the Bell Policy Center and co-chair of PCF. “A graduated income tax would push back on that giveaway and require the wealthiest to pay more – as they should.” 

‘Good Trouble Lives On’ hosted by Speak Now, Rally Now — 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. — 19240 Lincoln Ave., Parker

From the organizers: “We will have loaner signs and music. The fight to protect voting rights never ends, and right now, we’re witnessing a Jim Crow-era effort from politicians and their billionaire friends to restrict our freedoms, silence our voices, and consolidate power. But in America, we choose our leaders. We will decide our future. The same spirit that fueled Selma, Montgomery, and the March on Washington lives on in our unified action. Six years after the passing of Congressman Lewis, we’re organizing an event in our community to carry the torch, continue the legacy of John Lewis, and pass it forward to future generations. Join us!”

GrassrootsPueblo: No War in Iran Protest — 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. — 1520 W 4th St., Pueblo

Weekly demonstration. From the organizers: “We are GrassrootsPueblo, an independent group of concerned citizens regarding the authoritarian actions by the Trump administration. Our food and pet food donation drive continues every week at our Saturday protests. This allows us to help the people and pet friends in our community who are struggling right now. We really appreciate your donation.”

Indivisible: Protest “Against All Things This Authoritarian Regime Is Doing” — 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. — S. Wadsworth Blvd. & W. Alameda Ave., Lakewood

Weekly demonstration. From the organizers: “Join us and protest all the things this authoritarian regime is doing that keep you up at night. Pick the topic that is nearest and dearest to you to call out. There’s lots of traffic to see your messages. Immigration, ICE brutality and violence, voting rights, the rule of law, Constitutional violations, greed and corruption, healthcare, the First Amendment, use of National Guard, Ukraine, Gaza, and there are so many more. Let’s be heard!”

Weekly demonstration. Every Saturday, Longmont Leads with Love has a rally to show public support or protest.

Sunday, July 19

Jail ICE Killers — 10 a.m. — Aurora ICE Jail, 3130 Oakland St., Aurora

From the organizers: Join the Denver Aurora Community Action Committee, alongside Aurora Unidos, for a rally to protest the FBI Repression of activist Natia Topete and the murders of Lorenzo Salgado-Araujo and Joan Sebastian Guerro by ICE agents.

Indivisible: Ice Out for Good — 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. — West 80th Ave. & Wadsworth Blvd., Arvada

Weekly demonstration. Join protestors in standing against ICE and honoring Alex Pretti, who had ties to the Aurora community.

Monday, July 20

Gabe Evans Protest — 4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. — I-25 Pedestrian Bridge, 281 W. 104th Ave., Northglenn

Weekly demonstration. From the organizers: “A peaceful gathering at the I-25 pedestrian overpass (for visibility) near Cinzetti’s in Northglenn, CO, to urge CO-8 Congressional Representative Gabe Evans to have the courage to speak with us, his constituents. We also want to let other residents of CD-8 know what Gabe is voting for.”
