Denver Pride Events — June 26 – 27 — The Center on Colfax West Steps/ Lincoln Park
From the organizers: “For 50 years, The Center on Colfax has provided safe, essential, and affirming resources and spaces for Colorado’s LGBTQ+ community — work that is powered in large part by Denver Pride, one of our most visible and impactful community celebrations. Today, we face a growing number of challenges, from escalating hateful rhetoric nationwide to shifting policies and a shrinking number of safe spaces that are driving many in our community to seek refuge in Colorado. Your participation in Denver Pride directly fuels The Center’s year-round programs and services, ensuring we remain a lifeline, a beacon, and a gathering place for our growing community.”
Freedom Fest — June 26 – 27 — 500 Fairground Rd., Castle Rock

Protest at Gabe Evans’ Northglenn Office — 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. — Northglenn District Office, 10701 Melody Dr.
Weekly Demonstration. From the organizers: “We gather peacefully at Gabe Evans’ Northglenn Office every Friday between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to urge him to have the courage to speak with us, his constituents. We plead with him to defend our Freedom, our Constitution, and our Democracy. We protest Gabe Evans’ weakness as he remains silent in the face of the staggering level of corruption and other unconstitutional actions of this administration.
Saturday, June 27
Vigil — “Stand with Edward” — 4 p.m. — Aurora ice processing center, 3130 Oakland St., Aurora
From the Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition organizers: “A local Anglican community has asked ICE to stay the removal of Rev. Edward Nalwamba. Edward is a 78-year-old pastor from Uganda who has lived in the United States for over 25 years. His community and supporters from Resurrection Anglican Fellowship, Greenwood Village, are asking ICE not to deport Rev. Nalwamba to his home country of Uganda, where he faces severe persecution by the government, including imprisonment, torture, and even death. Credible threats continue to be leveled against him up to today.”

GrassrootsPueblo: No War in Iran Protest and Food/Pet Donation Drive — 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. — 1520 W 4th St., Pueblo
Weekly demonstration. From the organizers: “We are GrassrootsPueblo, an independent group of concerned citizens regarding the authoritarian actions by the Trump administration. Our food and pet food donation drive continues every week at our Saturday protests. This allows us to help the people and pet friends in our community who are struggling right now. We really appreciate your donation.”
Indivisible: Protest “Against All Things This Authoritarian Regime Is Doing” — 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. — S. Wadsworth Blvd. & W. Alameda Ave., Lakewood
Weekly demonstration. From the organizers: “Join us and protest all the things this authoritarian regime is doing that keep you up at night. Pick the topic that is nearest and dearest to you to call out. There’s lots of traffic to see your messages. Immigration, ICE brutality and violence, voting rights, the rule of law, Constitutional violations, greed and corruption, healthcare, the First Amendment, use of National Guard, Ukraine, Gaza, and there are so many more. Let’s be heard!”

Weekly demonstration. Every Saturday, Longmont Leads with Love has a rally to show public support or protest.
Sunday, June 28
Indivisible: Ice Out for Good — 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. — West 80th Ave. & Wadsworth Blvd., Arvada
Weekly demonstration. Join protestors in standing against ICE and honoring Alex Pretti, who had ties to the Aurora community.
