Denver Immigrant Partnership Teams — No More ICE Blacksites Protest — 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. — Centennial ICE Field Office, 12445 E. Caley Ave., Centennial

From the organizers: “Denver’s Immigrant Partnership Team, alongside the Communities Not Cages National Day of Action, invites the community to protest the secret holding sites hidden inside the Centennial ICE Field Office. In March, we learned that ICE is holding people in inhumane conditions at nine concealed sites across Colorado. These “hold rooms” are secret detention sites where people are being held for days at a time without access to their loved ones or lawyers and without access to decent food, sleeping, or toilet facilities.”

SoBoCo Indivisible: Protest to Stop ICE Warehouse Detentions — 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. — McCaslin Blvd. & Marshall Rd., Superior

From the organizers: “Join us on Saturday, April 25, for a national day of action to stop ICE warehouse detentions! The Department of Homeland Security is moving to lock thousands of people in massive detention warehouses — disappearing them from their families, their lawyers, and their communities. We’re taking to the streets to make clear stands for dignity, justice, and the rule of law. We’ll gather to: Show visible, public opposition to ICE detention expansion and the criminalization of immigration; Stand in solidarity with detained immigrants and the communities fighting to protect them; and demand that our elected officials defend due process for everyone. This action is part of the Communities Not Cages National Day of Action, organized by the Disappeared In America campaign and partners, including Detention Watch Network, Public Citizen, The Workers Circle, MoveOn, and many others.”

Our food and pet food donation drive continues every week at our Saturday protests. This allows us to help the people and pet friends in our community who are struggling right now. We really appreciate your donation.”

Indivisible: NO SAVE ACT Protest — 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. — S. Wadsworth Blvd. & W. Alameda Ave., Lakewood

Weekly demonstration. From the organizers: “Our April theme is NO SAVE ACT. This Act and its more extreme versions – the SAVE America Act and MEGA Act – could keep millions of eligible U.S. citizens from being able to vote, severely restrict vote by mail, and increase federal control over state and local elections. These bills ARE about silencing voters and setting the stage to interfere with election results they don’t like. These bills ARE NOT about safeguarding or keeping our elections free and fair. Want to protest a different issue about this regime? That’s great! Show up and bring your signs. No signs? We usually have extra signs you can borrow during the rally.”
