It was established in the 1950s and has been housed in its current building since the 1970s, according to its website. Other private political clubs in D.C. cater to Republicans, such as the new Executive Branch Club co-founded by Donald Trump Jr., the president’s son, which has a $500,000 membership fee and is frequented by wealthy tech executives.

No Colorado Republicans in Congress Sign Petition To Force Vote On Obamacare Funding

None of Colorado’s four Republican members of Congress has signed a petition, launched by House Democrats, to force a vote on extending the Affordable Care Act (ACA) tax credits, which would prevent tens of thousands of Coloradans from losing their health insurance. 

Evans Won’t Name the Farmers Who’ve Told Him They’re Worried About Unfair Trade. Hickenlooper Wants to Meet Them

After citing comments from local farmers to bolster his arguments in favor of the Trump administration’s tariffs, a Colorado congressman would not provide any further information about the farmers he was referring to. The Colorado Times Recorder requested the names of the farmers referenced by the congressman, Rep. Gabe Evans (R-CO), after Sen. John Hickenlooper (D-CO) said in Broomfield last month that he would “love” to meet the farmers whom Evans said were expressing concern about unfair trade practices.

Colorado Republicans closed out their inauguration eve celebration with a prayer for the ‘J6 praying grandma.’ Coloradans who traveled to the nation’s capital for President Trump’s inauguration gathered on the snowy eve to count down the hours to the inauguration ceremony. Many were ecstatic about Trump’s return and what he can do for social issues in Colorado, even as Colorado GOP infighting hangs over their heads.

Election Deniers With Colorado Connections Speak at CPAC

Two prominent election deniers with Colorado ties pushed election fraud conspiracies at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Friday. My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell and former Trump attorney John Eastman, who was teaching at the University of Colorado’s Benson Center when he authored the infamous “coup memo,” both had speaking slots at CPAC. Lindell said he is continuing to investigate election fraud, claiming there were “four senators and nine congressmen” whose elections were stolen in the 2024 election.

Hurd Breaks from GOP Colleagues in Letter Demanding Polis Repeal Immigrant-Protection Laws  

U.S. Rep. Jeff Hurd (R-CO) decided not to join Colorado’s other three congressional Republicans in signing a letter asking Gov. Jared Polis to repeal state laws that protect immigrants.
