Jeff Hunt: “If We Couldn’t Laugh, We Would All Go Insane” Speaking Tour, Hosted by Turning Point USA, Colorado School of Mines – 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. – Coolbaugh Hall Room 219, 1012 14th St., Golden
Local conservative commentator Jeff Hunt is bringing his speaking tour to the Colorado School of Mines’ TPUSA chapter. He has described the tour as “shining a light on the chaos created by progressive policies while calling for a return to faith, family, and freedom.” The tour has previously been hosted by both the Republican Parties of Broomfield and Garfield Counties.
Capitalism & Energy Panel Discussion – 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. – Independence Institute, 727 E 16th Ave., Denver
A panel discussion including state Reps. Dan Woog, Carlos Barron, and Ryan Gonzalez, as well as state Sen. Scott Bright, and gubernatorial candidate Barb Kirkmeyer. The event is hosted by American Conservation Coalition Action – Colorado.

Immigration rights activists will rally against a proposed ICE detention facility outside of Walsenberg. More information can be found here.

“We Demand Answers” Protest in Front of Congressman Gabe Evans’ Greeley Office – 10 a.m. – 3400 West 16th St, Building 1S, Suite C, Greeley
Delivery and presentation of petitions to stop a “for-profit ICE detention center” in Hudson, which is located in Evans’ district.
Denver Anti-War Action: Defend Venezuela Rally – 4:30 p.m. – Colorado Capitol, 200 East Colfax Ave., Denver
Activists will be rallying at the Capitol to voice their opposition to U.S. military involvement in Venezuela and to demand that the nation’s democracy be respected.
Saturday, Nov. 22
DEN CAT: Denver Unites Against Trump Rally – 12 p.m. – Colorado Capitol, 200 East Colfax Ave., Denver
The Denver Coalition Against Trump is organizing a rally in front of the Capitol to demand an end to deportations and to call on Gov. Jared Polis to stand against Trump. More information about DEN CAT and the protest can be found on its website, here.
Indivisible: Line Colorado Blvd. Demostrations – 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. – 8th Ave., Alameda Ave., & Mexico Ave.
In the latest of a series of actions over recent months, protesters will gather at three locations along Colorado Blvd. on Saturday in an effort to demonstrate their discontent with the Trump Administration, according to a post about the event.
