A hands-on training led by TransRooted, a local housing, legal aid, and community care organization, will teach about the role and ethics of legal observers at protests. No prior legal experience is required.

Protest Congressman Gabe Evans’ Greeley Office –  11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. – Location:  3400 West 16th St, Building 1S, Greeley

A peaceful weekly gathering at Gabe Evans’ Greeley office every Friday between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to urge him to have the courage to speak with his constituents and plead with him to defend freedom, our Constitution, and our democracy, according to organizers.

Saturday, November 15

CD7 Weekly Peace Vigil for Palestine – 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. – 5250 Wadsworth Bypass, Arvada

The group CD7 Watermelon organizes a weekly vigil to call attention to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The event is open to the public, and attendees are encouraged to bring signs and flags. Here is information on a similar past event.

Indivisible: Protest Against Tyranny – 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. – 5700 S Broadway, Littleton

This event was previously part of #TeslaTakedown, where activists protested billionaire Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and the richest man in the world, and his involvement in slashing public funds and federal departments. Activists plan to nonviolently protest his impact by demonstrating outside of local Tesla dealerships. The organizers wanted to broaden the scope of their action “as the authoritarian threat continues to evolve.” More information can be found here

Fresh Start Warrant Clearance Day – 1st, 8th, 18th, & 20th Judicial Districts

Warrant clearance events will be held at county justice centers and court facilities across the state for people with eligible warrants in Larimer, Boulder, Arapahoe, Gilpin, and Jefferson counties. Hours and applicable offenses may differ between districts, so please check county websites for additional information.

Tuesday, November 18

Climate Defiance Colorado: Just Say No to Fracking – 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. – 1120 Lincoln Street, Denver

Climate activists are rallying ahead of a Nov. 19 vote by the Colorado Energy & Carbon Management Commission on whether to approve the Sunlight-Long Well Pad, a proposed industrial drilling site comprising 32 new fracking wells just over half a mile from the Aurora Reservoir. Lincoln Club of Colorado: Igniting Freedom: A Turning Point USA Panel Discussion – 11:30 a.m. -1:00 p.m. — 5400 E Yale Ave, Denver

The Lincoln Club of Colorado will be hosting a panel discussion with several representatives of Turning Point USA, including leadership from its Denver University chapter. The event is a part of The Lincoln Club’s monthly lunch meetings, and more information can be found on their website.

Thursday, November 20

Jeff Hunt: “If We Couldn’t Laugh, We Would All Go Insane” Speaking Tour, TPUSA Colorado School of Mines – 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. – Coolbaugh Hall Room 219, 1012 14th St, Golden

Local conservative commentator Jeff Hunt is bringing his ongoing speaking tour, which he has described as “shining a light on the chaos created by progressive policies while calling for a return to faith, family, and freedom,” to the Colorado School of Mines’ TPUSA chapter. The tour has previously been hosted by both the Broomfield and Garfield County GOP.

Capitalism & Energy Panel Discussion – 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – Independence Institute, 727 E 16th Ave., Denver

A panel discussion with republican legislators, including State Representatives Dan Woog, Carlos Barron, and Ryan Gonzalez, as well as State Senator Scott Bright, and gubernatorial candidate Barb Kirkmeyer. The event is being hosted by ACC Action – Colorado.
