Wednesday, August 20: 

Palantir OUT of Denver – 4 p.m. – Location: 1701 Arapahoe St, Denver, CO 80202

Anti-war groups are rallying outside the headquarters of Palantir, a data/software firm that collaborates with ICE and the federal government. The protest will include speeches, performances to demonstrate solidarity with people who have been either arrested or deported by ICE, and the victims of the war in Gaza. It has been alleged that Palantir has worked with the Israeli government to use AI targeting in the conflict and concerns over war crimes. Greg Lopez for Governor Fundraiser – 6 p.m. – Location: 33747 County Road 2W, Hugo, CO

Former Congressman Greg Lopez (R-Elizabeth) is running for governor. He is holding a fundraising event in Lincoln County tonight.

Friday, August 22:

March Against Machines Denver: National Day of Action Against Big Tech and AI – 4:00 p.m. – Location: Tabor Center•1200 17th St., Denver

Saturday, August 23: 

CD7 Weekly Peace Vigil for Palestine – 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. – Location: 5250 Wadsworth Bypass, Arvada

The group CD7 Watermelon organizes a weekly vigil to call attention to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The event is open to the public, and attendees are encouraged to bring signs and flags. Here is information on a similar past event

Protest Against Tyranny – 11 a.m.-1 p.m. – Location: 5700 S Broadway, Littleton

This event was previously part of #TeslaTakedown, where activists protested billionaire Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and the richest man in the world, and his involvement in slashing public funds and federal departments. Activists plan to nonviolently protest his impact by demonstrating outside of local Tesla dealerships. The organizers wanted to broaden the scope of their action “as the authoritarian threat continues to evolve.” More information can be found here
