Emily Sirota for State Senate Official Kickoff – 5:30-7 p.m. – Location: 270 S. Broadway, DenverSirota is a Democratic state representative for Colorado’s for Colorado HD9 and is currently running to represent Colorado Senate District 32, both are in Southwest Denver. Arapahoe County Democratic Party HD 41 Meeting – 5:30-7:30 p.m. For this meeting you will have to contact [email protected] for more information. 

Gianina Horton, Aurora City Council Candidate La Fresca Chat – 6-7 p.m. – Location: Zoom. Gianina Horton is running to represent Aurora’s Ward I in the city council. She will be holding what she is calling a “La Fresca” chat where she will discuss public safety concerns, the Aurora Police Department and accountable policing. She will be joined by Amy Wiles, who is running in Ward II. RSVP for the event here.  

Colorado Democratic Party: Stonewall Monthly Meeting – 6-7:30 p.m. – Location: Zoom. You can find the Zoom link for that event here. 

La Marcha de la Puebla Planning Meeting for August 1 Protest – 6:30 p.m. – Location: First Unitarian Society of Denver, 1400 N Lafayette St., Denver. This is a meeting to plan an upcoming La Marcha de la Puebla march organized by various General Strike U.S. chapters. Find information about the event here.

Denver Democratic Socialists of America: Pol-Ed Article Reading – 7-8 p.m., Location 238 S. Broadway, Denver

Denver Democratic Party: HD 2 Meeting – 6:15-8 p.m. – 1955 Arizona Ave., Denver

Jefferson County Democratic Party: HD 27 Meeting – 6:30-8 p.m. – Location: Zoom. Visit https://www.jeffcodems.org/calendar to join the event

Friday, July 25:

Douglas County Republican Party: Highlands Ranch – 7-8:30 a.m. – Location:  4800 McArthur Ranch Rd., Highlands Ranch. 

Colorado General Assembly: Treatment with Persons with Behavioral Health Disorders in the Criminal Justice Systems – 10 a.m – Location: 200 E. Colfax Avenue, HCR 0112, Denver. There will be public testimony and hearing for this committee. You can find more information about the event here.

Colorado Forward Party Meet and Greet – 5-7 p.m., Location: 4630 Forge Rd., Colorado Springs. The Forward Party is a centrist political party founded by former presidential candidate Andrew Yang.

Denver Democratic Socialists of America: Trans Rights Working Group – 6-7 p.m. – Location: Zoom. Visit https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84465307258 to join the meeting.

Saturday, July 26: 

CD7 Weekly Peace Vigil for Palestine – 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. – Location: 5250 Wadsworth Bypass, Arvada. The group CD7 Watermelon organizes a weekly vigil to call attention to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The event is open to the public and attendees are encouraged to bring signs and flags. Tuesday, July 29: 

Colorado State Legislative Town Hall Meeting with Republican State Sen. John Carson – 6:30 p.m. – Location: 200 E Highlands Ranch Pkwy, Highland Ranch. This event is being organized in part with Douglas County Conservatives.
