On Tuesday, freshman Republican congressional representatives visited the White House and met with President Donald Trump.
Both Reps. Jeff Hurd (R-Grand Junction) and Jeff Crank (R-Colorado Springs), who were elected for the first time to Congress last year, visited the White House on March 25, judging from social media posts.

“Met with President Trump at The White House this afternoon,” Hurd wrote on Facebook under a photo of him and Trump. “Thanked President Donald J. Trump for fighting to lower the price of gas and groceries, advance energy dominance, and support common sense regulations that help working families across the CO-3.”

Crank’s Facebook message was brief, saying he was “honored for the opportunity to meet with President Donald Trump today in the Oval Office.”
Colorado Congressman Gabe Evans, whom voters sent to Congress for the first time in November, didn’t post photos of a recent visit to the White House. His office didn’t return an email seeking to know if he joined Crank and Hurd in meeting Trump on Tuesday. Evans was endorsed by Trump last year, but information about his Trump endorsement — along with Evans’ list of other endorsers — has been removed from Evans’ campaign website.
