Tanya Mares Kelly-Bowry, Vice President of Government Relations at the University of Colorado, will moderate a discussion about the 2019 legislative session on Fri., March 1.
Hosted by University of Colorado Denver’s School of Public Affairs, the discussion will feature State Rep. Chris Hansen (D-Denver), State Sen. Bob Rankin (R-Cortez), and Gov. Jared Polis’ Legislative Director, David Oppenheim.
Addressing topics like lowering health care costs, budget issues, fracking, and environmental protection, the panel will highlight upcoming challenges lawmakers face in this legislative session.
