Sabato’s Crystal Ball, which boasts among the most accurate predictions of election outcomes since its creation in 2004, has released new predictions on the presidential and US Senate races in Colorado.

Larry J. Sabato, Director of UVA’s Center for Politics, has changed the rating for the US Senate race of Michael Bennet (D) versus Darryl Glenn (R). Previously, the race was rated as ‘likely Democratic,’ but is now rated as ‘safe Democratic.’

The Crystal Ball has also moved Colorado from ‘leans Democratic’ to ‘likely Democratic’ in the presidential election, suggesting that Colorado’s key role as a swing state is fading. Overall, Sabato predicts a landslide election, with 347 electoral votes for Hillary Clinton and 191 for Donald Trump.
